I am a fulltime artist in everything I do, from writing Young Adult and Middle Grade novels to building ponds and tree houses. I edit for writers around the world and also volunteer as a reading and writing assistant for elementary age children.

Past creative endeavors include photographic, T-shirt, and mural airbrushing. I enjoy web design, landscape design, and my next building project is a horse trail-riding agility course! I'm your basic DYI problem solver, heavy on the creative side.

I live in Oregon, where it doesn't snow nearly enough, with my husband, two dangerously creative children, an Australian Shepherd and cat. And technically a second cat who lives at the neighbor's... because she doesn't appreciate the dog's cheery disposition. Every summer, the kids and I venture into the wild west high desert where we love rock-hounding, horseback riding, horse and dog training, and four-wheeling. So if you're trying to reach me in the summer months, sometimes cyberspace has a hard time finding me. Keep trying!

I'm proud to announce my first illustrated children's book, A Magical World, written by Michelle Raynor. This wonderfully imaginative story made the pictures a total blast to create. More books from Michelle are in the works to be published soon.
